Walbrzych, Poland, mayoral candidate calls for fare-free buses

WALBRZYCH24.com : " Residents of Walbrzych should use public transport in the city free of charge as we will sponsor it with their taxes. Revenue from ticket sales as seen from the response to our interpellation is a cost of 12 million dollars. Equating this to the budget revenue of PLN 620 million comes just 2% of the budget. We believe that finding the funds for free public transport should not cause major problems and also bring many benefits to reducing congestion on the roads - says the presidential candidate of the town of Walbrzych Simon heretic."
